Eight gunmen with Mexico’s Gulf Cartel and three Mexican Army soldiers, as well as three innocent motorists, sustained multiple injuries during a crash when authorities were transporting the captured gunmen in an armored truck after a shootout.
Officials in the Mexican border state of Tamaulipas are advising tourists to travel only during daytime hours.
